Many thanks to all the performers who gave fantastic performances on the night and many of whom travelled great distances to make this event a success as well as the artists who submitted some inspirational video works from all over the world. Les vidéos et photographies de l’événement Open Ear – Cardiff du 13/06/2008 sont désormais disponibles ici.

En 2006, Ramuntcho Matta a demandé à plusieurs artistes visuels de réaliser un clip vidéo pour une chanson au choix extraite de son album Mes plus grands succès.

À l’occasion du Festival City Sonic de Mons, ces vidéos seront proposées aux yeux et oreilles du public à la Faculté Polytechnique, Salon audio-vidéo.

Oui Oui Oui (version linéaire):

[Ce petit projet été réalisé, dans un premier temps, avec le logiciel Flash afin de permettre la variation aléatoire de certains paramètres : couleur de fond (tirage à partir d'une liste finie de codes couleur), taille, couleur, opacité, positionnement et vitesse de réduction de l'échelle horizontale des acteurs typographiques "O", permutation de lettres au sein de mots extraits des paroles.
Avec un petit peu de code, il a également été possible de gérer la disparition de groupe d'acteurs typographiques et d'en générer d'autres (sous forme de rosaces, par ex.).

Les fragments de texte apparaissant en seconde 6 de la première minute sont extraits d'une poésie d'Arthur Rimbaud : Les Assis

L'idée première était de concevoir un visuel léger pour une chanson légère. ]
