The Great Wall of Oakland is a large-scale projection on a
concrete wall in the center of downtown.
On the first Friday of every month (Jan 2) all the art galleries are
open and people come from all over to drink wine and look at art.
There are usually about a thousand people milling about, and the Great
Wall is the city’s contribution to the event.
