\n“A.u.t.o.m.n.e. ⁄ Autumn : renew” is an audiovisual performance made at Open Ear’s event<\/a> the 11th<\/sup> of March 2008 with an application conceived by the artist Garrett Lynch<\/a>. It deals with the genesis of the graphic video “A.u.t.o.m.n.e.”<\/a>.

It proposes a journey in time. The voice distorts the images, as if searching to describe the process it erases bit by bit the memory of making them.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\n“A.u.t.o.m.n.e. ⁄ Autumn : renouveau” est une performance audiovisuelle réalisée à l’occasion d’une soirée Open Ear<\/a> à Broadstairs, dans le Sud du Royaume-Uni, le 11 mars 2008. L’application de modification en temps réel des images par la voix a été conçue par Garrett Lynch<\/a>.
\nCette performance aborde la manière dont a été élaborée la vidéo “A.u.t.o.m.n.e.”<\/a>.

La voix, venant s’appuyer sur un texte d’intentions<\/a>, distord les images, altère la lecture de la vidéo, comme si la description du processus de création entrait en concurrence directe avec le résultat de ce processus.
